Punch (X). Attack with nunchuk/baton thingy-ma-whatzit (B) . Jump (A).
He would be quite alert, and this would show in his animations. i.e having his head darting back and forth.
Idle animation 1 - Drop baton stick, and feel around on the ground to find it.
Idle animation 2 - Look startled and scan environment.
