Attack with magic (X) . Mind control (B) . Jump (A) . Levitate (A+A). His animations would be very smooth, though they would still need to be bold, with lots of arm gestures.
Idle animation 1 - Meditate/levitate.
Idle animation 2 - Read book, then conjur spell.
